Oh, Cheryl, how I tracked with this tale! One of our favorite vacations returned to over and over is the San Juan Islands. Shaw is the one I haven't yet visited, and now, I must. What moody, broody tall tale will you tell from those shores?

So happy for your new release and I really can't wait to get my hands on it!

When one goes to the woods or the islands . . . things happen. 😳 😆 I, too, had been to lots of other islands out there, Laura, but not that one. A different feel to it.

Alluring photos! I'd never considered that I don't have to go to Scotland or Iceland to find such lovely, lonely places.

Thanks, Lori—and except from some hilltops, there's zero cell service. One can feel airborne out there.

I'm a MIMI! And in just a few weeks, I'll have a second little person to call me MIMI :)

You’re definitely in the drawing, friend. 🧡 Celebrating you and those little treasures—& praying for a smooth arrival for babe (and mama).

Oh, how I wanted to be called MIMI when I had grands, but when they came, their other grandma already had that name. So I am Mora (sometimes Mosie), which means blueberry… Which I like even better!

This would be a perfect book to read to my Littles!

It would be a perfect one, Maureen! And I agree, Mora—and MOSIE—are even better!

Love this! How long will you be in Spokane? I will be there 26th-28th. With likely a side trip to Post Falls.

What a lovely trek you had! The little library sounds like it would be my kind of place. I hope you can reschedule your monastery trip for another time. What a lovely retreat from the world that would be. I know you are so grateful for adventurous friends to keep you company. Can't wait to hear all about the novel that is set there.

Mimi's House sounds right up our alley with the ages of my grands. Of course I would need to travel to see them to read it to them but I am game for a plane ride to Indiana just about any time I get the chance. LOL Thanks for the photos with all the autumn vibes. It is my favorite time of year.

It was truly wonderful, Leann, despite the change in plans.

How is that Indiana family doing? And the new baby? Email me?

You’re in the drawing, my friend. 🧡

Thank you once again for beautiful photos and bending with the sway of the Spirit of God. I hope one day we can meet at Mimi’s Cafe and share a conversation over a home style meal. (See what I did there?😉)

Happy Autumn!
