I have never, ever thought about that. I will look at bare trees with new eyes and at winter with just a little more anticipation. Beautiful words and photos. Thanks, Cheryl.
What a beautiful meditation on this time when we in the Northern Hemisphere have the opportunity to look inside and see ourselves as the bare trees, without the distraction of leaves....
Algebra textbooks?! There will be push-back. But at least she's being honest!
Roots connected by microscopic threads that share essential water and nutrients, plus the chat. We and the trees both form community with our heart-thread connections. So grateful for the community of She Writes Press that birthed your first novel and connected us! (No math books on my list either! Hah.)
I love trees in all seasons. As a little girl, my grandparents had a picture of trees at sunset on their wall with these words — A tree at dusk whispers love from every branch. I’ve never forgotten. It’s almost like they are saying … PRAYERS. 🩵
Love this! I'm a tree hugger and Autumn is my favorite time of year. I miss the Canadian colours and length of Autumn 🍂 since I left there 15 years ago. Your thoughts on the next stage and descriptions are sooooo relatable. You express it so well!

Thanks, Lori . . . and thanks for reading!
This soothed my soul. Thank you, Cheryl.
Thanks for reading, Kelly!
A thoughtful challenge in light of our study of Revelations, how should we be living while we are waiting?

Yes, & with roots that chat to one another under the stillness.
Blessings & love to you, friend—& no math books on my list. 😆

Would love to read the devotional. I've been rereading one I got from Joyce Meyer for about 5 years!
P. S. As a former teacher, luv the humorous end to your newsletter ☺️
You're entered, friend. And thanks for laughing with me!
